FCR CAPSULA XLII enables extremely high throughput of up to approx. 94IPs/hr.* and the time to display the image on the CR Console monitor is approx. 23 seconds, in spite of its compactness.

All-in-one unit for all diagnostic imaging needs

FCR CAPSULA XLII can be optionally upgraded for 50-micron reading with the single-side HR-IP and new IP cassettes type CH to visualize more fine and minute structures for mammography** and paediatric imaging. In addition, three types of IP cassettes (Type CC, LC & CH) can be used for various imaging needs, as well as pantomography (15 x 30 cm).

High-speed processing

FCR PRIMA T is a table-top reader unit which boasts a world-class high processing speed of 57 IPs / hour. With the optional Upgrade Kit this speed can be increased still further to 67 IPs / hour. As with all Fujifilm equipment FCR PRIMA T is easy to operate. It will help reduce patient waiting time and greatly increase the efficiency of examination workflow.

 

Space-saving design

FCR PRIMA T, with its light, compact, table top design is Fujifilm’s first FCR model of this type. It can be placed on a desk or shelf or anywhere space is limited. As this is a fully digital reader neither a darkroom nor automatic processor are required. FCR PRIMA T can always be installed in the space vacated by a chemistry based processor.

Drive as you like

The dual motor drive provides smooth and easy steering and comes with four acceleration modes as standard. Designed to be silent you can happily move the unit around at night. A touch sensor on the front of the unit stops the machine automatically if it makes contact with an obstacle.

Position it as you need

The telescopic arm adjusts easily to the precise, desired position. The arm also has extended horizontal and vertical movement letting you use longer exposure distances for high quality images. The X-ray tube also moves both horizontally and vertically, allowing desired Positioning even when the arm is in a diagonal position.

Incorporating Fujifilm’s patented Direct Optical Switching Technology

AMULET f and AMULET s use a direct conversion X-ray sensor with excellent conversion efficiency. The panel comprises of a dual layer of a-Se, employing Fujifilm’s proprietary Direct Optical Switching technology, instead of thin film transistors (TFTs), to directly read the signal more efficiently. This technology ensures lower image noise and allows a pixel size of just 50 µm to be achieved as well as permitting shorter inter-exposure times (15 seconds). AMULET f and AMULET s provide high resolution images, high DQE and optimise workflow.

Fujifilm’s 3D mammography creates 3D images by using two high resolution images taken from different angles. One of these images is a conventional 2D image. The images are presented on a special viewer. 3D images enable the internal anatomical breast structures to be identified more clearly than in a 2D image due to tissue separation and micro calcifications stratification. With this system, it is expected that image interpretation is as quick or even quicker than 2D mammography and false positives are reduced.
