Handheld Automatic Resuscitatorso_two1

The CAREvent® range  of Automatic  Transport  Ventilators are   time/volume   cycled,   intermittent   positive   pressure ventilators with the added benefits of manual triggering and demand Lightweight, portable, extremely durable and simple to use, they provide a wide range of frequency of  ventilation  and  Minute  Volume  settings.  The  design  of the  micropneumatic  circuitry  in  the  Automatic  Transport Ventilators   maintains   a   consistent   I:E   Ratio   of   1:2 throughout the entire range of settings.

Automatic Transport Ventilators/MRI Compatible Ventilatorso_two2

Designed for use  by  trained  personnel  in  the  prehospital, interhospital and air ambulance settings, the various modes of  operation  of  the  CAREvent®   support  the  resuscitation and transportation of a wide range of patients (from infants to adults) who require ventilatory The CAREvent® MRI   model   is   specifically   designed   for   use   within   the MRI environment and its operation has no effect on image quality.

CAREvent® CPAPo_two3

The “Handheld” CAREvent® CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) system provides superior CPAP delivery in a simple, compact device that can fit easily into your existing oxygen kit. The “ease of use” design concept and unique single use patient circuit with face mask, head harness and airway pressure gauge makes application and operation of the CAREvent® CPAP extremely simple for the rescuer and more comfortable and less distressing for the patient.
• Small and lightweight
• Low oxygen consumption
• Decreased Work of Breathing
• Easy adjustment of CPAP setting
• Easily visible airway pressure gauge
• Comfortable and secure head harness
• “Gurney Clip” for stretcher attachment
• Fits into existing oxygen kits

Manual Resuscitatorso_two4

• The SMART BAG® MO has been designed to allow for the provision of consistent ventilations while virtually eliminating the risks associated with conventional Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM) ventilation. The unique “Smart Valve” located inside the neck bushing of the SMART BAG® MO responds to the rescuer and the patient.
• By responding to the rescuer ’s squeeze and release of the BVM, the SMART BAG ® MO limits the excessive flow of gas into the patient’s airway, significantly reducing the risk of gastric insufflations by effectively lowering the airway pressure generated.
• In a normally compliant and resistant airway, the airway pressure is limited to below the lower esophageal sphincter opening pressure of 19 cm H2O. Changes in the patient’s airway compliance or resistance will affect the motion of the “Smart Valve” allowing higher pressures to be applied to the airway, but only when the patient’s condition requires it.
• The SMART BAG ® MO comes with a “manual override” to disable the “Smart Valve” for use only during intubated CPR. This provides the high flowrates necessary to ensure an adequate tidal volume delivery within the limited inspiratory time.

Demand Valveso_two5

• During spontaneous respirations, our Demand Valve range is designed to provide breathing patients with flow rates up to 160 L/min. This is to accommodate their respiratory distress situation with minimal inspiratory effort.

• The Demand Valve Resuscitator provides a fast, simple, and effective means to manually ventilate non-breathing patients with a flow rate fixed at 40 L/min in line with the current Guidelines for Resuscitation. The Oxygen Demand Valve simply provides 100% oxygen to the spontaneously breathing patient.

• The Equinox® II Administration System is a rugged demand inhalation unit for the administration of 50% N2O/50% O2 analgesic gas mixture (Entonox®) and is specifically designed for use in emergency and obstetric analgesia.

Ventilation training Aidso_two6

• The Mini Ventilation Training Analyzer has been developed to demonstrate the correct ventilation technique when using a Bag-Valve-Mask resuscitator and the complications of gastric insufflations associated with incorrect ventilation technique. Calibrated to simulate a normal adult lung capacity, compliance, airway resistance and lower esophageal sphincter (LES) pressure, the Mini Ventilation Training Analyzer responds to the Rescuer’s squeeze of the BVM like a real patient.

Oxygen therapyo_two7

Our range of oxygen regulators provides both therapy and low pressure outlets to power your ventilators and other equipment. The Multi-Patient unit offers 6 therapy outlets for the provision of oxygen to 6 patients during a mass casualty scenario.

Compressed Gas Cylinderso_two8

Medical Aluminium Cylinders are 40% lighter than conventional steel cylinders and pound for pound stronger and more crush resistant, aluminium cylinders reduce the strain on EMS and rescue personnel. Straight threads and O-Ring seals reduce thread damage (a major problem in taper threaded steel cylinder valves) and also provide a superior gas seal.
Available for Oxygen, Air and Entonox® gases, these lightweight cylinders also hold up to 15% more gas than their steel equivalent.
• Lightweight Aluminium construction.
• Long Service Life.
• Hold more gas than steel gas cylinders.
• 15 year warranty on Aluminium Cylinder Body, 1 year warranty on Medical Post Valve against manufacturers’ defects.

Plastic/ Softpack Carrying Caseso_two9

• Lightweight padded nylon with large loop handles, shoulder sling and hidden backpack straps.
• Semi-rigid design provides shape and additional protection for equipment.
• Multiple pockets and pouches to store all your airway management supplies.
• Vinyl coated aluminium hooks allows the case to fit most stretchers and hospital beds.
• Reflective tape for easy visibility.
• Self-repairing zippers.

Public Access Resuscitationo_two10

• In the event of a cardiac arrest, rescuers may be unwilling to perform CPR because of panic, fear of doing harm, or fear of cross contamination by performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. The CAREvent® PAR – “Public Access Resuscitator” has been specifically designed to eliminate these concerns, “Bridging the gap between FEAR and EFFICACY in CPR”.

Burn Relief ®o_two12

Burn Relief® helps reduce trauma to burn patients while simultaneously providing a fast, effective, “No Mess-One Step” approach to the management of burns. Simply apply the Burn Relief® product to the burned area and the self-cooling, non-adhering Burn Relief® dressing provides immediate, soothing relief. Burn Relief® helps reduce trauma and burn progression for the burn patient while relieving pain. Burn Relief® cools by the process of evaporation and convection. The 96% water, gel-saturated, non-woven polyester composition of Burn Relief® draws heat away from the injured area. This provides the cooling effect which can last up to 8 hours! (Dependent upon ambient conditions). Easily applied, Burn Relief® comes in a variety of convenient sizes to meet the requirements of emergency burn management.
